Today, Namco announced that Gumby vs. the Astrobots has shipped to retail. Pokey, Prickle and Goo have been kidnapped by the Blockheads and Gumby must venture across Book Worlds, like the Old West, North Pole and Planet Astrobot to free them. Gumby must use abilities like morphing, stretching and bouncing to rescue his friends.

"We should all hope to be as active and vibrant at 50 as Gumby is," said Jeff Lujan, business director at Namco, chuckling at his own joke. "We've packed as much Gumby content into the game as possible, with a classic selection of characters and environments, an original storyline and spectacular clay abilities for Gumby fans of all ages."

Gumby vs. the Astrobots is rated "E" for Everyone and is available exclusively on GBA for $19.99.
