Capcom today began shipping Mega Man X's latest adventure to stores, Mega Man X Command Mission. Available for both the PlayStation 2 and GameCube, Command Mission is the first title to use characters from the X series in a role-playing environment.

The Liberation Army has instigated a riot on Giga City Island, and it's up to X and friends to stop the riot before it gets any worse. Players will be able to choose from seven playable characters, including X, Zero and Axl, as they assemble a three-person party to restore peace and order to the island.

Rated "E" for Everyone by the ESRB, Mega Man X Command Mission carries and MSRP of $39.99.
