Medal of Honor Airborne breathes new life into the tired WWII shooter genre with sophisticated and dynamic gameplay, where everything changes in accordance to where the player lands. This non-linear design lets players complete objectives in any order and however they want, either by themselves or with computer controlled allies. The system of ducking behind cover and maneuvering to shoot above or around it works perfectly, delivering non-stop action and excitement. Airborne has a few minor flaws, but it will redefine the way people design first person shooters, and not just of the WWII variety.
