darkbakura101488: "Controversy"
It doesnt take this game for people to realize an axe to the head will kill someone. There are rated R movies, and rated M video games, there are movies with a killer doll and his girlfriend ripping intestines out of people, and then M rated games like this.Iif your going out and buying your child every thing they want out there and then COMPLAIN its too violent, don't buy it for them! Its rated M, the descriptions are everywhere, what else do you need? Sure, people might say "Well not all games are bad, this is supposed to be something I can trust!"....When you send your child to the movies and he wants to see Rated R movie, do you let him? If you do, don't you do your research first (what its about, the content involved?) If not, then Kazaaaa! You have just lost (this part of) the argument because you'll let them watch any movie, which reflects your gaming choices. But in case you do check the movies you send them too, why not the video games? "Video games should be something my children shouldn't have to worry about!" No, wrong, nada, zippo, Video games are a form of entertainment that your little ball of sunshine doesn't own, but to clarify in case your the one without the spoiled child: Theres E rated, T rated, M rated, You want games that belong to your children, something you can trust, stick with E. Long post I know >.> Anyways, now you might say "Its too easy to get, I didnt buy this for my child, he played it at someone else's house/someone got it for him." Yea, and you also don't buy your children drugs when children get into them, or let them watch rated R videos, its not the games fault your child didn't say no, or has the "wrong" friends. There are adults just as there are kids, why take away their mature game so that the kids don't get a hold of it? Because your kids aren't alone in this world! Yet, I agree on one thing: Why do we have such games for adults in the first place, why can't adults compromise/change their ways from such games? This is simply because its their taste, I'm not going to blame them, they are mature enough to play it, things happen and can happen like murder, death, robberies, and such---and sometimes it entertains mature audiences, whens the last time you've been to the movies? Anyways to sum it up, don't be so quick to taboo, sometimes the truth ain't pretty, YOU mature up parents and stop blaming everything else.

I am afraid the fact that these games are popular is a reflection of how sick our society has become. I am not a left nor right winger, I just think there is already so much bad stuff happening, we don't need to add more of this as entertainment. If you compare people today with people twenty years ago, you can not exactly say that we have improved ourselves. We could have constructive games that would teach other values, that could still be entertaining, why does it have to be murder, stalking, and violence?

It is the parents choice to let the kids have thses kind of games not anyone else. If the ban M rated games the companies might go out of business.. What happened to the saying born free ? If other people dont like the way the games are then they dont have to buy any or go to the store's w/ kids. I just hate people who try ban all kinds of stuff, they even tried to ban guns, but you can go to a pawn shop and buy 1 . I have always done what I wanted NO one stopped me , and they never will !!!!!
