Unamused by yet another setback in getting Manhunt 2 released in the U.K., Rockstar issued a public statement backing up the VAC's original decision and criticizing the court's decision.

Yesterday, a High Court Judge overruled the decision by the BBFC's Video Appeals Committee on Manhunt 2. This was mainly due to what was believed to be a misinterpretation of what constitutes harm. This will force the VAC to reconvene and decide Manhunt 2's fate for a second time. Rockstar is not wholly pleased with this turn of events, and expressed their feelings on the matter in a statement issued to the press.
"We believe the VAC decision was correct and do not understand the court's decision to expend further public resources to censor a game that contains content well within the bounds established by the BBFC's 18-plus ratings certification," said Rockstar's statement.
