Receiving an "18" certificate, it's just business as usual. Rockstar is no doubt thankful that there won't be a Manhunt 2-like fiasco with their premiere franchise.

MCV is reporting that Grand Theft Auto IV has received an "18" certificate from the BBFC. This means that there will be no hitches for the game to release in the U.K. on April 29, 2008. GTA IV has received an "M" for Mature rating from the U.S. ratings board, the ESRB.
This news is certainly positive for Take-Two and Rockstar. It took the publisher several months and two appeals to finally get Manhunt 2 a rating in the U.K. The rating also comes on the heels of the Byron Review, which heavily scrutinized British games ratings.
