2K Sports' signature baseball franchise is back for another banner year, and although it still isn't the best in the series, Major League Baseball 2K8 doesn't disappoint. There are aspects here that needed fixing, such as the cloth effects on uniforms and slightly annoying in-game glitches. Those in mind, it's still a sweet game of baseball. The new gameplay features, particularly Total Pitch Control, are great, and the franchise and online modes will appeal to baseball fanatics. The graphics and sound could've been better, but manage to solidly represent the sport.
