Anyone who has ever sat in the lunchroom on a rainy day and played endless rounds of War or Go Fish knows how fun a good card game can be. There is little more satisfying than throwing down your last card and beating your opponent, and Majesco has tried to capture that feeling in its Kids Cards title for the Game Boy Advance. This game combines five of your favorite card games onto one game so that you can enjoy hours of card sharking fun.

The game includes War, Go Fish, Old Maid, Crazy Eights, and Slap Jack, five games that all kids know how to play and know how to play well. The presentation is not very fancy, but when it comes to cards, it doesn't need to be. The accompanying music is simple and easy to listen to, and there are kids' voices that add to the mix, so for example, if you get a match during Old Maid, they'll say "Fish, fish, got my wish!" It all makes for a lot of fun, and is reminiscent of playing with an actual opponent.

Younger kids will definitely get a kick out of this game, but older kids may find themselves a bit frustrated with it because it moves mighty slow. It takes quite a while for the cards to be dealt for each game, and for each computer opponent to take their turn. Those who are short in patience may find this a bit frustrating.

All in all, Majesco Kids Cards is a fun but simple title that brings playing card fun to the Game Boy Advance.
