Madden NFL 07 may be the most complete and deepest football simulation yet. Its revamped Superstar: Hall of Fame mode is phenomenal and the enhancements to the running game make busting through holes in the defensive line simply a joy. But unlike last year's fiasco with next-gen Madden on the Xbox 360, this year Madden 07 on 360 is clearly the superior version to own. I can't recommend the Xbox version over its significantly prettier next-gen cousin, but the excellent core gameplay that is common to all the versions make the Xbox version a more than worthy alternative.
