Madden NFL 07 on PlayStation 3 delivers an extremely solid game of football. The motion-sensing SIXAXIS controller does nothing to improve the gridiron experience, but by and large, EA includes everything that makes the franchise great, from the easy to learn controls to the bone jarring tackles. It may not look as jaw dropping as some expected, given the PS3's supposed power, but the visuals still look excellent with detailed players and animations that make you feel every hard-hitting tackle. With the SIXAXIS debacle notwithstanding, Madden NFL 07 stands out as one of the system's best sports games.
