Another year, another Madden. One might feel that the series is getting a little stale for the current generation, and in a way, they're right. However, Madden NFL 07 still remains a definitive game for the PlayStation 2, thanks to some new key features and the all-important feeling of damn good football. While I would've liked to have gotten more emotional commentary from Madden and Michaels and less graphic freezes, it's still nice to have the highlight stick and lead blocking features give the running game just as much emphasis as passing has gotten. Madden once again scores a touchdown, and, with that, the series is ready to move onto the PS3 league.
