Capcom today revealed that Lost Planet 2 is in development. Developed using the company's MT-FrameWork 2.0, the game will be overseen by Resident Evil 5 producer Jun Takeuchi. A video for Lost Planet 2 is available right now on Xbox Live.

Lost Planet 2 will take place on the same frozen planet as the first game. Warming events on the planet, however, have led to certain temperate and tropical environments. The story of Lost Planet 2 will revolve around numerous "snow pirate" factions and characters.
