Sega's Let's Tap for Wii sells for $29.99, but that's still too much to pay for such a shallow and at times boring video game. Most interesting is it's method of control, you flip the remote with the A-button side down (preferably on an object with some give, like a tissue box), then device interprets the strength and speed of your finger tapping moves into on-screen actions. This lets you perform and complete various challenges, from jumping hurdles in a race to playing an imaginary set of bongo drums (Donkey Konga, eat your heart out).

Unfortunately, Sega wasted an otherwise fun concept on five mediocre to lame mini-games. Tap Runner, where up to four players race to the goal, is enjoyable for a little while, and we drew mild amusement from Rhythm Tap's 16 songs. The Jenga inspired Silent Blocks failed to hold our interests, dodging projectiles in the space shooter Bubble Voyager was much too difficult and the limited Visualizer, where you tap to launch fireworks and splatter paint across a blank canvas, gets old after a few minutes. Even worse, your fingers will hurt after lots of tapping, and you'll need to secure the remote to keep it from sliding around. It might be fun with friends, but Let's Tap doesn't have enough meat on its bones to justify its price.
