Child's Play today announced the to-date results of their third annual charity drive. The recent fundraising dinner auction generated $82,100, which added to the greater than $420,000 total received in the campaign. Highlights of the auction include $20,000 paid for an appearance in a Penny Arcade comic, "mystery boxes" that went for $2,000 and $4,000 each, and $1,500 for a giant Master Chief statue. Also, the Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool, England has been added to the list of hospitals benefiting from Child's Play.
"A huge thank you goes out to all the individual gamers and corporate sponsors who have already made this year's campaign such a success," said Child's Play's Robert Khoo. "You are making a difference in a lot of children's lives."
