Batgirl joins the cast of playable characters in the upcoming Lego Batman: The Videogame, due for release next month.

Batgirl joins the lengthy playable character list in Lego Batman: The Videogame, including the Dark Knight and Robin, as well as various villainous characters such as The Joker and Harley Quinn. Batgirl will have superpowered strength to beat up bad guys, and will use the occasional utility belt device to pull off special moves.
Any Batman fan worth his/her salt knows that Batgirl is Barbara Gordon, the daughter of police commissioner James Gordon. Babs gets PO'd when her father refuses to let her join the Gotham City Police Department, so, she takes the law into her own hands by dressing up as Batgirl.
Batman, at first reluctant upon seeing another crime fighter work alongside him, eventually accepts her into the fold, making her a powerful ally against growing criminal forces in Gotham.
