Microsoft Bundling Free Games with Xbox 360 This Holiday (XB360)

[UPDATED] If you're in the market for an Xbox 360, you will soon be able to pick up a new bundle with two free games, or an Arcade bundle with one free game.

Last year, you may remember that Microsoft created Xbox 360 bundles around Forza Motorsport 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. This year not only has Microsoft slashed hardware prices on Xbox 360 across all SKUs, and the company is preparing to launch its New Xbox Experience, but soon gamers looking to join the Xbox family will be enticed with new bundles as well.

According to a report in TalkXbox, the new bundles have already been seen en route to retailers. The 60GB Pro model ($299) and the 120GB Elite model ($399) will both be bundled with two extra games for free: LucasArts' Lego Indiana Jones and Activision's Kung Fu Panda. The Arcade SKU ($199) will come packed with Sega Superstars Tennis in addition to the standard Xbox Live Arcade compilation disc.

The new retail packaging for these bundles will also feature Netflix's logo and new Xbox 360 owners will be encouraged to sign up for a free trial of the "instant streaming" movie service.

Microsoft has yet to officially confirm the news. GameDaily BIZ has pinged representatives and we'll update once we hear back.

Update: Microsoft has made the announcement official via Xbox.com. You can read more about it here.
