The recently concluded 36th Annual Annie Awards, which recognized the year's best animated features, television productions, commercials, video games and short subjects, gave top honors to Activision's Kung Fu Panda video game, which was based on the hit DreamWorks motion picture. EA's Dead Space and THQ's Wall-E had also been nominated for Best Animated Video Game.

Overall, Kung Fu Panda stole the show with 17 nominations and several awards, including Best Animated Feature, Storyboarding, Music and more.

Activision's Kung Fu Panda video game helped push Activision Blizzard to a record $1 billion June quarter last year. The DreamWorks movie was the studio's biggest opening for a non-sequel film. It grossed nearly $632 million at the box office worldwide.
