Japanese retailers have revealed that Nintendo is set to unveil a new line of bundled titles containing two game packages the will retail for about the price of one game. Called the W-Pack (pronounced Double-Pack in Japanese), the bundles will include five titles in various combinations including Kirby Air Ride, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Mario Party 5, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, and Custom Robo.
The combinations of these titles are as follows:
Additionally, Nintendo will also release a special Pikmin W-Pack. The pack will contain both Pikmin and Pikmin 2, and will include five Pikmin figure models as a bonus. The Pikmin W-Pack will retails for 8,980 yen ($83) while the other W-Packs will retail for 7,880 yen ($73). The game bundles are scheduled to hit Japanese retailers on July 23, 2004.
