Actually the fifth game in the series, the game will not follow the action/RPG path of Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom, instead going with the action/RTS set up of its predecessors.

Blueside today announced that they will team up with Phantagram to co-develop a sequel to Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders and Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes. Titled Kingdom Under Fire II, the game is set to release in 2009 for PC and "console platforms." The title promises to have the action and strategy of its predecessors, along with online play and an offline storyline that introduces a third faction to the struggle between the Human Alliance and the Dark Legion.
"We are preparing for an immense game that will feature not only field battles, but also titanic siege engines and thousands of units that will swarm over monstrous fortresses in siege battles of epic proportions," stated Blueside's CEO Sejung Kim.
