Beginning today, Square Enix U.S.A. Inc. will now be known as Square Enix, Inc. Essentially, Square Enix wishes to have the same recognizable name worldwide. The URL for Square Enix's website has been modified to reflect the new title. Dropping 'USA' from its address, the site is now located at www.square-enix.com.

In related news, Square Enix also announced a little bit of reorganization amongst its ranks. Yoichi Wada, Global President of Square Enix, will also serve as the chief executive officer of the U.S. branch. Keiji Honda, Executive Vice President of Square Enix and former Enix President, has been named as the head of Square Enix's Chinese branch. Finally, former President and CEO of Atlus U.S.A., Jun Yamamoto, was given the position of President and CEO for Square Enix's European operations.

Alongside all these changes, the folks at GameGossip spotted that Square Enix has also updated their release list. Final Fantasy XII, Fullmetal Alchemist and Kingdom Hearts 2 are listed for 2005 release, while the launch of Final Fantasy VII Advent Children has yet to be decided. Star Ocean: Til The End of Time is still set to ship in August, with both Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and the Final Fantasy XI: Chains of Promathia Expansion due out by the end of 2004.
