The GameDaily One-Minute Review
Namco's Katamari Damacy harks back to the golden years of gaming, where simple to learn and fun concepts were all that was necessary to have a good time. The game lacks snazzy visuals and an in-your-face presentation, but it more than makes up for that with quality gameplay that's built around the most simplest of concepts: roll a sticky ball around various environments, picking up all sorts of stuff along the way and growing bigger in the process. It's a novel idea that almost works to perfection, and it's bolstered by a whacky Japanese design that'll please gamers looking for title with an Eastern flavor.User Reviews
