Organizers for MIDEM today announced the keynote speakers for this year's event. Presenting the keynote will be Nitin Sawhney, who scored Heavenly Sword, and Jesper Kyd, veteran of the Hitman series with recent credits including Assassin's Creed and Kane & Lynch. During their joint keynote "Music for Images" they will discuss convergence of music, films and video games.

MIDEM this year looks to offer a diverse conference program addressing important topics for the industry. Not surprisingly synchronization, which deals with creating music for movies and games, is an increasingly important subject. The 42nd MIDEM will take place in Cannes, France, from January 27 - 31, 2008.
