At first glance, the grappling hook feature in Just Cause 2 looks suspiciously similar to the one in Bionic Commando. It can be used as a kind of offensive weapon, a means of transportation by swinging from place to place, or a means of making a quick escape by grappling onto a wall and zipping away. However, what makes it unique in this game is that players have the option of using the line to tether things, such as people, onto other objects like lamp posts, cars or aircraft. It may sound like a small enhancement at first, but as you can see, it opens a world of possibilities.
