Sony Computer Entertainment today announced the latest title in the Jak and Daxter series. Titled Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, the game is being created by High Impact Games, makers of Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank. The title will release on both PS2 and PSP in Fall 2009.

Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier follows the story of the previous Jak games, this time seeing the duo attempting to save the world from "dark eco" and help Kiera become a Sage in the process. The game will feature both on-foot platforming and flying sections with five different aircraft.
