"Hello, I'm Johnny Knoxville, welcome to Jackass!"

Following this simple greeting to viewers, Knoxville and company get right down to business with Jackass, the hit TV series and movie where everyone gets involved in a series of brutal stunts. Someone at Red Mile thought this would be an ideal set-up for a video game, and, lo and behold, Jackass the Game arrived. In it, you recreate many of the over-the-top activities with digital recreations of the group, minus local favorite Bam Margera.

When we say over-the-top, please take that into serious consideration -- Jackass is not for those with weak stomachs. Swallowing eggs, diving into elephant crap, giving Wee Man the worst tattoo imaginable and dealing with Party Boy's dancing shenanigans (in a thong) won't be high on everyone's gaming lists. Some activities, however, fare better than expected, especially the golf cart mini-game, where you must blow stuff up while driving around like a lunatic. Another event goes beyond the reality of the show, jettisoning a Jackass crew member down a mountainside as he garners the world's largest hospital bill without killing himself.

Red Mile has done a pretty good job recreating the chaotic atmosphere of the show. Most of the Jackass crew supply their likeness and voice quips, although they don't sound nearly as energetic as they do on the show. Though it's still funny to hear them groan in pain, especially after a kick to the groin.
