Today, Sega of America announced that they will be perpetuating their relationship with Marvel Entertainment. As such, Sega will be publishing the Iron Man 2 video game based around the upcoming 2010 Marvel Studios film of the same name. The Iron Man video game that released last year by Sega sold nearly a half million copies during May, but was poorly received by critics.

"We are thrilled to build on the success of the Iron Man phenomenon and work with Marvel and Paramount on another epic project," says Simon Jeffery, President of Sega of America. "Sega and Marvel are collaborating closely to ensure we deliver an authentic Iron Man experience."

There's very little information on the game currently. The title is currently in production at Sega Studios San Francisco and Sega said it "has continued to refine its game engine so that players can expect an entirely new and enhanced gameplay experience."
