The GameDaily One-Minute Review
Expectations were some high for Insecticide, since the DS seems ripe for hosting a point-and-click adventure. Boasting an aesthetic that seems ripped from the mind of Tim Schaefer (Psychonauts, Grim Fandango), this film noir-style adventure has you battling enemy insects via an over-the-shoulder view, interspersed with dialog-intensive investigation sequences. The game does a good job mixing these two elements to keep it from getting repetitive, but neither section works well. With spotty combat controls and unintuitive evidence gathering, the game gets boring fast.User Reviews
