The GameDaily One-Minute Review

Sega's headhunter Jack Wade returns in Headhunter: Redemption, a futuristic sequel to the Dreamcast and PS2 cult hit. Unfortunately, even though the gameplay mechanics are solid and the graphics are among the best the PS2 has to offer, the game isn't that much fun to play. It's a standard third person shooter that features incompetent AI and boring missions that we've done to death in other games. While a fun diversion, I couldn't help but recall other games in the genre that do everything Redemption tries to do three times better. As it stands, it's an appetizer that's not very filling, but for $40, your money's better spent elsewhere.
