Sega announced today that Headhunter: Redemption has shipped to retail outlets across North America. The game, which will be available for both the Xbox and PlayStation 2, is the sequel to the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 title Headhunter and developed by Amuze.
In Headhunter: Redemption, players take on the roles of veteran Headhunter Jack Wade and rebellious street kid Leeza X. The game's story takes place twenty years after the devastation caused by the Bloody Mary Virus when a new order emergeds based on two distinct but totally independent worlds, divided by the ultimate consumerist society: 'Above' and 'Below'
Players will be challenged to solve crime in the glittering metropolis 'Above' and also stalk the criminal masterminds of the shadowy underworld 'Below'. Along the way, they will be led into the greatest danger of their lives and must overcome something much more sinister than a simple human threat. Each must face their darkest fears.
