With just over two weeks to go before the next Harry Potter movie arrives in theaters (July 15), fans of the long-running film series can get an early taste of the movie by playing the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince game, which released today to retailers.

In the game, players get to play as the young wizard as his goes through his sixth year at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. While the game follows parts of the movie with the discovery process with finding out who the Half-Blood Prince is, the game also deals with the Potter crew's new dilemma as they're finding hearts in their eyes for one another. Just last week, GameDaily unveiled that during the final four weeks of filming the movie, we were able to see one of Harry's pinnacle moments filmed after his battle with arch-nemesis, Draco Malfoy.

For fans of the game series, movies or books, the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince game also features fast-action Quidditch gameplay, potion creation and wizard duels where players get to battle Malfoy, other students, or go head-to-head with a friend at home.

A new series of trailers, released by the game's publishers, gives fans a look at the real-life actors including Daniel Radcliffe talking about their experiences with the game and the new experiences that players will discover. Available today, players will find the game on PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, PSP, DS, PC and Wii.
