Master Chief shotguns his way onto the Xbox 360 in the first-person shooter Halo 3, the conclusion to Microsoft and developer Bungie's best-selling video game trilogy. Packing an armory of futuristic weapons and vehicles, the Chief squashes Covenant aliens set on destroying the universe, while trying to save his virtual sidekick, Cortana, from the clutches of evil. During the seven-to 10-hour adventure, Master Chief battles enemies across gorgeous locales, from lush jungles to futuristic space stations. It's a short campaign, and Bungie makes a few missteps, but the ability to play through the entire game with up to four players in co-op mode and up to 16 in the multiplayer free-for-all will keep 'em coming back for more. Halo 3 doesn't reinvent the shooter genre, but it offers one hell of a ride.User Reviews

Screw all you halo haters, this game is awesome. I've been playing the game for a year now, and still can't get enough of this. Any person who loves a good shooting game, buy halo 3 now, if you haven't already bought this game.

I'm here to say that girls that dont play video games, like sadiebug1231 need to stop wandering into the gaming message boards, and let the REAL gamers, like me or any of you ppl that like halo 3, decide if it's a good game or not! Halo 3 rox and if u think otherwise... go play the gay or wimpy nintendo, Playstation, or wii..

This game is very good, the graphics are so nice its fun to play and you can play with plenty of people on campaign. Also you can unlock armor and cuztomize your spartan or elite however you want to. I do think this game deserves a perfect 10 because there are no pops in the game and everything thing else is just perfect.

this is game is recommendable for the people that like instant action (which is me) and for the people that like COD4 Im with you to its a good strategy game and real. If you like Sci-Fi buy Halp If you like Real Life action buy Call of Duty 4 And I was reading one of the reviews which say the best weapon is only on General for COD4 Not really the M16, MP5, W12000, and M4OA1 is one of the best

its a cool game and nothing like CoD 4 so stop comparing theyre both good in thier own ways this is just a little more fast paced CoD is more strategy.

Halo 3 is a good first-person shooter. I played, completed, and enjoyed all of the games from the halo trilogy, but Halo 3 was my favorite. When it comes to playing online or just playing in campaign mode, I enjoy crushing my opponents. It's also fun to play multiplayer when you got some friends over. Tis is one of the best games I have played for xbox 360.
