The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions event will be taking place over the next few days in Orlando, Florida, and word has it that a new deluxe-sized Guitar Hero arcade cabinet will be shown on the floor for the first time. A recent spy picture, as you can see below, shows the cabinet's huge size and deluxe lighting set-up. A 32" monitor should make the playing field easy to see.
Now, here's the interesting part. Raw Thrills, the same arcade team responsible for the shoot-em-up Target Terror is producing the game and oddly the report claims that Konami will publish it... not Activision. Since Konami has more experience with arcade game production, particularly with its Guitar Freaks and Drummania units, this would make sense. Still, have Activision and Konami formed some kind of alliance as a result?
