On September 25, Jesus fans will be able to rock out to Christian rock music in the Guitar Hero knock-off, Guitar Praise: Solid Rock, which will ship with 52 "inspirational and pulsating tracks" from Flyleaf, Petra, Whitecross, Newsboys, Skillet and others.

Does Jesus rock? This Guitar Hero copycat says yes.
"People love the console guitar games on the market, but many would like more family-friendly songs and graphics," says Digital Praise CEO Tom Bean. "Guitar Praise gives kids, families and youth groups the play features they like best, plus some new twists as well as the best Christian rock titles out there today."
Guitarists will be able to rock out solo or with one other player, one taking the lead and the other playing bass. A PowerDuel mode, borrowed from Guitar Hero III, will let players deliver "surprises" that will affect their opponent's performance.
A bundle containing the game and wireless guitar controller will be available for $99.99 and will work with both Windows and Mac computers. Extra guitars will be available for $69.95.
The company also makes a Dance Dance Revolution-style game with Christian music called Dance Praise 2: The Remix, which retails for $50.

Isn't stealing the Guitar Hero idea against one of the 10 Commandments?
this is for those stupid parents out there that can't tell their kids, "NO!" and why they're saying no. "BECAUSE I SAID SO!" stopped working for me when i was about 7. a lil explanation as to why they can't have that video game or video game system on their level is ok. good even. the kid learns a lesson without feeling as if you're being mean. even if you do have to resort to being mean about it, they'd at least admire you for sticking to your guns. many christian families want to be OF the world, even tho the Bible says that that's a big no-no. what's wrong with having and teaching those solid christian morals and values you say you have? talk about two faced. i don't see anything remotely christ-like here. just another marketing scheme for guilt ridden parents and their bratty kids.
haha ur kidding me rite? this is such a joke no1 will ever buy this cheap knock-off
I have to agree with Micheal. What's the rock without the sex and drugs? Besides, this is a really crappy knock-off. Most christian rock sucks, anyways, because they try too hard to be christian and "heavy" at the same time. You can be non-vulgar and drug-free without being Christian and without proclaiming it all the time.
No sex, no drugs, no rock 'n roll... no me
Finally, my prayers have been answered!
This rocks so much.
