Today, Activision announced that the Smashing Pumpkins will debut their new single G.L.O.W. in Guitar Hero World Tour. This will be the first time that the band has recorded music exclusively for the popular music-game franchise. G.L.O.W. will be bundled with 1979 and The Everlasting Gaze in a three-song downloadable content pack available after the release of Guitar Hero World Tour.
Guitar Hero World Tour will also feature Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan as an in-game character. Players will be able to use the singer and lead guitarist for the game's vocal and axe careers. Additionally, Guitar Hero World Tour will feature Today from the Smashing Pumpkins' 1993 album "Siamese Dream" on the game disc.
