The GameDaily One-Minute Review
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock offers the same high-intensity music experience on the PC that it does on the consoles. This is a sweet port of a great game, and thanks to the inclusion of keyboard controls, players won't have to shell out for another guitar to get a friend in on the fun. Even though there's a great selection of music, however, Guitar Hero has a few shortcomings, like the great divide between difficulty levels, making beginner songs a lot harder than they should be. This is exacerbated by the Rock Battles, where rockers play against legendary guitarists, which are so difficult that all the fun gets sucked out. There's also more emphasis on rock battling than cooperation, while the co-op mode feels very underdeveloped. However, even with its faults, Guitar Hero III is still a wildly addictive music game that works just as well, if not better, on the PC.User Reviews
