The GameDaily One-Minute Review

Guild Wars Eye of the North (GWEN) gives longtime players a chance to prove their might in a series of challenging and engaging quests dedicated to this story driven roleplaying campaign. The game introduces a number of campaign-specific skills and rewards dedicated fans of the series by answering leftover questions from the original Prophecies campaign. Although Prophecies players will benefit the most from playing the expansion, plenty of challenges await other gamers, including deep multilevel Dungeons providing near Master Quest level difficulties. With loads of side quests, titles and mini games, this "expansion" provides enough gameplay to fill a whole Guild Wars campaign.

EOTN is a great addition to the Guild Wars story.NCSoft has made a special buff so that you no longer need to have a level 20 character from one of the other three campaigns to play.A character from one of the other campaigns needs to be level 10 or higher in order to start playing EOTN.The buff will let a level 10 character play as though the character is a level 20 character. The buff will go away when the character achieves level 20. The heros that you will find in EOTN are level 20 and can be brought back to help players out with one of the three oringinal campaigns. This is a great feature if you are having trouble getting enough real players to fill out a party. This is also helpful on missions or quests that are tough to get through due to low level henchmen. This is a must have for anyone that has enjoyed playing one of the three original campaigns. Not only does it have new areas to explore it also has 15 or so dungeons to crawl through and explore also.As with the other campaigns there will be more spells to learn, armor to collect and titles to earn. With the addition of a Hall of Heroes you will also have a place to show off all of your achievements that some of which will carry over to Guild Wars 2. I highly recommend EOTN to anyone that has played on any of the first three Guild Wars continents.
