Vice City Stories gets off to the most tepid start of any game in the series. After wandering around the remote Air Force base for several missions, the action wisely shifts back to Vice City's trademark neon-lit streets. The game stars Vic Vance, a good guy who winds up doing very bad things. While some of the missions frustrate thanks to the clunky GTA controls, the game's sense of style, the 100-plus-song soundtrack and knee-slapping sense of humor make Vice City Stories a nice place to (re)visit.
