Grand Theft Auto IV lives up to its grand expectations by weaving a Hollywood-ready "American Dream" plotline with a finely-tuned game experience -- taking the tried-and-true GTA formula and plugging it into a living, breathing version of Liberty City. It's complete with all the vices (and more) we've come to know and love: driving wrecklessly, hanging out with questionble women and committing crimes that would, in real life, have us locked away in the pokey with numerous life sentences. Fortunately, this isn't real life, and while people will still have a few minor quibbles with the game -- a restrictive save system, an overly-sensitive drift mechanic -- GTA IV's one for the history books.
