Reuters is reporting that Take-Two CEO Ben Feder is highly optimistic for sales of Grand Theft Auto IV. So optimistic, in fact, that the executive is predicting that the game will outdo the expectations of analysts. Analysts, for their part, have predicted the game will sell over 13 million copies in 2008 and smash Halo 3's first week sales record.
"Our expectations are very high, higher than analysts give the game credit for," Feder told Reuters. "All the analysts had a (sales) number, give or take, and I think we will be on the upside of that rather than the downside."
Feder also added that Take-Two's will hold off discussions about a take over from Electronic Arts until after GTA IV launches.
