Recently, Aaron Greenberg, director of product management for Xbox 360 and Xbox Live, predicted that Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto IV would likely top the Xbox Live charts and drive new memberships for Microsoft's popular online service.

Well, so far it's looking like GTA IV is indeed the most played game on Xbox Live. According to Major Nelson, GTA IV saw more global unique users for the week of April 28 (the game released on April 29) than either Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4.
