Today, Aspyr Media announced that they will bring The Sims 2 Pets to Mac. The fourth expansion pack for The Sims 2, Aspyr is licensing the game from Electronic Arts. The Sims 2 Pets will release on Mac in November 2006.

"In The Sims 2 Pets, users can create the perfect pet for their Sims to train, play with and love as their own," said the release by Aspyr. "The addition of a new friend is guaranteed to enrich the daily lives of your Sims! Not only will players have the opportunity to choose from a variety of existing breeds, and hot designer mixes, but they'll also be able to personally design their new friend with the Create-a-Pet feature. Choose your Sims' pet's body shape, unique markings, even the pet's personality! With so many different animals to choose from, there's no telling what unpredictable experiences could occur!"
