Today, Sony revealed several new details about the anticipated God of War III. While the company remained moot on a release date for the game, they did mention that an announcement will come out during E3 2009. God of War I, II and Chains of Olympus all released in the U.S. during March.
Stig Asmussen, God of War III's Director, also revealed on the PlayStation Blog that the game will "bridge the series" in an attempt to bring new fans up to speed on the story. Despite an earlier release declaring God of War III the finale in the series, when asked if this was the end of God of War, Asmussen responded, "I don't know about the future of God of War, I'm just focused on God of War III."
