Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 takes high honors as Xbox Live Arcade's greatest game bests its predecessor in every respect. Once again, the series' basic premise challenges you to maneuver a tiny ship through a grid and blast shapes, the goal to wrack up as many points as possible. This time, however, there are six excellent games to choose from, each offering a unique play style and rules. In addition, offline multiplayer (both versus and co-op for up to four players) extends the its value and gives the game a more competitive edge. Its biggest attraction, though, are its leaderboards, where trigger-happy gamers compete for high scores. Gorgeous, irresistible and a must buy, Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 epitomizes fun
