Yep, now Xbox 360 owners can save a whole $20 when they purchase Gears of War starting June 4. There will also be a special two-disc version coming with content for both Gears of War 1 and 2.

Today, Xbox Community Team member Chris Paladino announced a price drop for Gears of War. The acclaimed title will retail for $39.99 on the Xbox 360 and $29.99 on PC starting June 4, 2008.
Additionally, he announced a special two-disc version of Gears of War for Xbox 360. The second disc will contain map packs and content from Gears of War, along with trailers and content for the upcoming Gears of War 2. This Xbox 360 release will be available on June 24 for $39.99 as well.
