It's official - Gears of War 2 will be shipping in November 2008. Rumors of the game's announcement had been circulating all week and Gears of War lead designer CliffyB appeared on stage at the last minute of a Microsoft keynote speech at the San Francisco Game Developer's Conference to announce the game and its release date.
