Electronic Arts has added two new Bond girls to its remake of the classic James Bond film, From Russia With Love, which ships for all platforms on November 1. Hollywood actress Maria Menounos (Fantastic 4, "One Tree Hill") will virtually star as Eva, the henchwoman to the game's villain, Red Grant (played by Robert Shaw in the film). British pop star Natasha Beddingfield will breathe life into Elizabeth Stark, the daughter of England's Prime Minister.

After creating several original Bond games, Electronic Arts has dipped into the archives for the first time with this videogame remake starring Sean Connery. Schofield said Connery spent four days in the recording studio bringing his classic James Bond persona to life.

Because the Connery in the game will look like he did in the 1963 film, Schofield said all of the art was hand done by some of the best character artists in the world. He said they painstakingly built his character model in 3D and hand painted all the textures. The game will also include the likenesses of Red Grant, Tatiana, Moneypenny, Rosa Klebb, M and Q from the film, but sound alikes will provide their voices.

Menounos took some time out of her schedule to talk about Bond and gaming with GameDaily.

Can you talk about the character you play in the game?

I play Eva, the henchwoman for the main villain in the movie, Red Grant, played by Robert Shaw. She's an evil and aggressive person and she's an original character for the game.

How did you bring life to this virtual character?

I looked to past Bond characters to help shape this one. EA gave me a lot of room to create her. We don't know her origin in the game, so I gave her an accent. It's a blend of Czech and Russian. She's a very strong and loud character.

What was the recording studio process like?

I was nervous going into the recording session, because I had no idea what I was getting into. I'd never done voice work before. The first thing they do is put all of these motion-capture dots all over my face, so that they can get my expressions while I'm speaking. When I started doing the voice with the accent, they loved it. It took a while to get into the character. The session involved a lot of yelling, because in the game she talks through a walkie talkie, and there are sequences in a tunnel. So I had to be loud and clear. The whole thing was a process, but it was a lot of fun to play this over-the-top character.

What are your thoughts on videogames as a new medium for actors?

I think videogames are another avenue for us to be creative in as actors. I'm glad the world of gaming is doing well and it's great to be a part of it.

Do you play games today?

I play Xbox with my friends a lot. I don't have an Xbox yet, but I play over at my friends' houses all the time. We play this fighting game, DOA 2, that is awesome. I also was playing games the other day at the new Reebok store in LA, which opened a celebrity lounge with videogames.

Have you been playing games for long?

I grew up on videogames. Super Mario Bros. on Nintendo was one of my favorites. And I had the code for Contra to get 100 lives. I still remember it...Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, b, a, select, select, start. I played that game all the time. I played all the Atari games. Frogger was one of my favorites on that system. And of course, Pac-Man.

What do you think of today's visuals in games?

It amazing the graphics they can do in today's games. They showed me some scenes from the new From Russia With Love game and it's so cinematic. Games today are like going to the movies and controlling the action that's going on. When I tried out a level in the game, it felt like I was playing in the movie. It's so authentic with the details in the characters and surroundings.

What's it like to be a Bond girl?

It's cool to be a Bond girl, even in virtual form. This is a legacy that's been going on for over 40 years now. Bond girls are as essential to the movies as they are to the games.
