From the same company that brought us the quirky (yet likable) flOW, Flower is an engaging video game that will suck you in to its magnificent universe. You control a mighty wind gust using motions from your SIXAXIS/Dual Shock 3 controller, building a stream of flower petals across the countryside. The tilting gameplay is both surprisingly simple yet elegant, letting you achieve goals at your own pace without frustration. Flower also blooms with an awesome and colorful presentation, one of the best we've ever seen in a downloadable-only game. The orchestral music, which builds with each petal you acquire, is ear-soothing, and the rich visual landscapes will make your eyes water. More stages would've been nice, as the game ends sooner than expected with only seven stages. Regardless, for $10, it's worth going back into time and time again, if only to take in the sweetness of these digital roses.
