According to GamePolitics.com, SF0785 has been signed into law. This Minnesota law fines minors $25 dollars for purchasing a game rated "M" or "AO." It also requires retailers to post signs explaining said fine.
"This afternoon, Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R) signed into law SF0785," said a post on GamePolitics. "The bill, sponsored in the Minnesota House by Rep. Jeff Johnson (R) and in the Senate by Sen. Sandra Pappas (D) uses the video game industry's ESRB ratings to define which games minors are ineligible to buy."
