Publisher Says: Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is a brand new game featuring familiar locales from the Resident Evil series. This action/shooter hybrid reveals the back-story behind the fall of the Umbrella Corporation by exploring locations from Resident Evil 0, 1, 2 and 3 as well as new never-before-seen locations, such as Umbrella's stronghold. Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles combines first-person, light-gun style combat with interactive pathways, multiple weapons and new enemies to create an entirely new Resident Evil experience.

What'll Happen: A fun shooter that, like all light gun games, ends too quickly. However, the short trip through Resident Evil's best moments will be worth the ride several times.

Madden NFL 08

Publisher Says: EA hasn't sent a press release, but based on early reports, this year's Madden includes enhanced gang tackles, hurdles, midair collisions, more player celebrations and realistic graphics.

What'll Happen: Plays almost exactly like last year's Madden, but with a few tweaks and some ingenious use of the right analog stick. Will infuriate gamers still upset over the whole "EA stole the NFL license" thing (get over it), but everyone else will gobble it up.
