The GameDaily One-Minute Review

Final Fantasy VI Advance addresses most of the complaints regarding its predecessors. Each member of the development team deserves thanks for the game's smart design, which covers multiple angles when the party splits up. Though battling remains a bit tedious, a tweaked encounter rate keeps things more manageable compared to previous games. The inclusion of relics and their properties provide a far more efficient means of customizing character behavior, plus the unique abilities of each character prevents a party of identical warriors. One of the Game Boy Advance's last role-playing games, Final Fantasy VI Advance also proves one of its best.
